Amman Stock Exchange is basically a private stock exchange that is functioning in Jordan. It is named on the name of the capital of Jordan that is Amman. The Amman Stock Exchange founded in the year 1999 March. It is basically a non-profit and private type institute that was self administrated. It is operated by the board of directors that consists of seven members. There are 65 brokerage firms that are listed in Amman Stock Exchange. The major operation of Amman Stock Exchange includes the bond market and equities market. There are two division of equities market that is First market and Second market.
Trading Sessions
The pre-trading session of stock starts from 9:30 am till 10:00 am while the trading session starts from 10:00 till 12:00 noon and 12:00 noon till 12:30 pm. Holidays are declared on Saturdays, Sundays.
