Bank of Beirut s.a.l. is regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon and supervised by the Banking Control Commission. It was established on 1963. It is known as Banque du Liban.

The Bank of Beirut is the commercial leading bank in Lebanon. It is currently operating worldwide in six countries. It is providing a wide range of retail banking and wholesale banking to its customers and clients. The Bank of Beirut is currently ranked as sixth among the 55 commercial banks of Lebanon.

Branches of the Bank of Beirut

The Bank of Beirut is currently operating in Lebanon with 43 branches and these branches are spread all over the Lebanon. New and additional branches are under way.

Brief History

The Bank of Beirut was established in the year 1963, initially it was started functioning with the name of Realty Business Bank s.a l. Later on it went under the ownership of the Gefinor Group and it was renamed as the Bank of Beirut s.a.l.

Bank of Beirut signed an MOU with the Ministry of Tourism and the MEA for the launching of “Lebnen al Bel”, a card in LBP for the support of Lebanon's.
