Bulgaria Air

Bulgaria Air is the national airline carrier of Bulgaria. It is based in the national capital, Sofia. Bulgaria Air operates scheduled services to 21 countries in Western Europe, Czech Republic, Israel and Russia. Bulgaria Air was included in the international reservation systems Amadeus and Galileo. Bulgaria Air operates nine Boeing 737 air crafts.

Base of Bulgarian Air
The main base of Bulgaria Air is Sofia Airport. The airline was established in 2002. The first flight of Bulgaria Air was carried out in the direction Sofia - London - Paris with 60 passengers on board.

Privatization of Bulgaria Air
The name and logo were determined by a public competition. Bulgaria Air was privatized in 2006. Hemus Air was selected as the preferred bidder for the sale of Bulgaria Air by the Bulagarian government.
