CHITTAGONG COLLEGE
Chittagong College is the well known and high ranked college in Bangladesh. It is the first college that was established in Bangladesh, it was founded in the year 1836. Initially it was established as a district school in Chittagong but later on in 1869 it was upgraded as an intermediate college. Chittagong college contains five buildings and one library, one Masjid, auditorium and several other facilities. Chittagong college has a famous sports ground that is called as Parade Ground. Officially Chittagong is known as the Chittagong Government College. Chittagong College has following faculties

Facilities at Chittagong College
Chittagong College has a large library, this library is one of the largest libraries in Bangladesh. Chittagong college has a botanical garden, which of medium size and it is maintained by the department of botany. Chittagong college also contains a zoological museum that is maintained by the department of zoology.
