Chittagong Collegiate School
Chittagong Collegiate School is an eminent secondary school that is located in the Chittagong. It was founded in the year 1836 and it is among the oldest schools of Bangladesh. Chittagong Collegiate School is a very famous secondary school because of the quality secondary education that it is providing. Brief History
Initially this school was founded as a government school in the year 1836. This school was the pioneer English medium school of Chittagong. Previously this school was located in the southern area of Parade Ground and classes were taken in a brick building but later on school building were moved to the Markot Sahib Hilly area in the southern part. Currently, school is located at Ice Factory Road, South Nalapara. Formerly this school was known as the Entrance School later on it was renamed as Chittagong Collegiate School and College.
Current Chittagong Collegiate School
School contains a residential area for teachers and students. School contains a Masjid, playground. This is the largest school of Bangladesh because of the high rate of students that are enrolled. This school is also providing vocational training to its students. This school has achieved several national awards regarding the progress of the school. The current principal of the school is Muhammad Aziz Uddin.
