PORT OF CHITTAGONG
The port of Chittagong is the biggest port of Bangladesh that is located in the Patenga of the Karnaphuli River It is located near the city Chittagong so it is named after the city Chittagong. Major export and imports are done through this port in Bangladesh; however, it is one of the two biggest seaports of Bangladesh. Chittagong Seaport has a long and flourishing history, it was used by several civilizations for trading. Several new facilities were introduced at Chittagong Seaport for the comfort of dealers and importers and exporters who deals at Chittagong Seaport.

These facilities include: Window berthing system etc. In the year of 2007, window berthing was started in this seaport with
this berth system traders can track the arriving and departure time of
ships.
This seaport is a deep water seaport and it is mainly dominated by containerized manufactured products trade. This port serves as the major and main seaport in the country and all the major trading of Bangladesh is done via this seaport.
