Daily Star Bangladesh
The Daily Star is the largest published and circulated English language newspaper of Bangladesh. It was launched by Syed Muhammad Ali on the 14th day of January in the year 1999. The Daily Star is run by Mediastar that is a venture of the Transcom Group. The head of Transcom is Latif ur Rehman. Prothom Alo is also published and circulated by the Transcom. The Daily Star is operated by Mahfuz Anum who is not only the editor of Daily Star but also he is the publisher and one among the Board of Directors of finance department. The Chairman of Board of Directors is Latif ur Rehman. The managing affairs, accounts, production, storing and establishment affairs are being controlled and led by Syed Fahim Munaim, who is the managing editor of The Daily Star. The news team of The Dialy Star is controlled by Inaam Ahmed, who is news editor and Riaz Ahmed who is the Chief Operator.
