Dhaka
Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. It is the principal cit of Dhaka district. Dhaka is located on the banks of Buriganga River. It is one of the most populous cities in the world. Dhaka was known as Jahangir Nagar in Mughal Rule in 17th century. Modern Dhaka is the center of political, cultural and economic life in Bangladesh. In recent decades, Dhaka has seen modernization of transport, communications and public works. The city is attracting considerable foreign investment and greater volumes of commerce and trade. It is also experiencing an increasing influx of people from across the nation. Dhaka is not only known as the City of Mosques but also it is known as the Rickshaw Capital of the World. Dhaka is serving as the prime center of culture, business and education along with other similar cities in the region.
