Dhaka weather is mostly hot and wet during the year. Dhaka is the capital o f Bangladesh and the principal city of Dhaka District. Dhaka is the largest city of Bangladesh and one of the most populous in the world. Dhaka is located on the banks of Buriganga river. Modern Dhaka is the center of political,cultural and economic life in Bangladesh. The city is within the monsoon climate zone with mostly hot, wet and humid tropical climate. The monsoon season owing heavy rainfalls and cyclones. According to the Koppen climate classification, weather of Dhaka is classified as the tropical wet and dry climate. Due to heavy population and congestion, Dhaka climate has severely been affected. Due to congestion pollution is increasing day by day that is affecting climatic conditions badly.
