East Timor is an independent republic in South east Asia.

It comprises the Eastern half of the island of Timor. The national capital is Dili. Dili is a small port city located on the northern coast. Dili is one of the Timor's chief ports.
Climate of East Timor
Dili's climate is warm with little seasonal variation. Dili became the national capital of the independent republic of East Timor in May 2002. Population 56,000 (2001 estimate). There is also an airport in Comoro, which is used for commercial and military flights.
