Islam is the state religion of Egypt and approximately 90% population is Muslim. Majority of these Muslims belongs to the Sunni sect of Islam. Christianity is the second major religion in Egypt. National sport of Egypt is Football that is very popular sport in Egypt. Currently Cairo is the Capital of Egypt. Egyptian military consists of army, navy and air force. Air defense command is also the part of Egyptian military.
