GAZI UNIVERSITY ANKARA:
Gazi University is a public type university that is based in Ankara Turkey. It was founded in the year 1926 by Kamal Ataturk. Initially it was started working as a Gazi Teacher training Institute and later on it became merged with the Bolu Academy of Engineering and Architecture, Ankara Academy of Economy and Commerce, Ankara College of Technical Teachers, Ankara Girls' College of Technical Teachers, Ankara State Academy of Engineering and Architecture and after merging all of these institutes Gazi University came into being.
Gazi University is currently consisting on 15 faculties, nine vocational schools for higher education, six graduate and 26 research centers. There are approximately more than 57,000 students that are enrolled at Gazi University and among all those approximately 1,500 students are from Turkic states of Central Asia.
