India Railway

India is a sovereign nation in South Asia. India is the seventh largest country by geographical area. It is the second most populous country, and the world's most populous democracy. Indian Railways abbreviated as IR, is a department of the Government of India , under the ministry of Railways, and is tasked with operating the rail network in India. Indian Railways  has a total state monopoly on India's rail transport. It is one of the largest and busiest rail networks in the world, transporting sixteen million passengers, and more than one million tonnes of freight daily. Indian Railways is the world's largest commercial or utility employer, with more than 1.6 million employees, and is second to the Chinese Army in highest number of employees.
