Times of India
Times of India is among the leading and largest circulating English language newspapers of India. It is operated, managed and administrated by The times group (Bennett, Coleman & Cp. Ltd) of the family Sahu Jain. It is the world's largest circulating English language newspaper. Times of India was launched in the year 1838 initially as Bombay times and Journal of commerce. It was founded during the Britain rule. Initially it was published twice a week; it covered the news from America, Europe and Subcontinent. Later on, in the year 1850 regular and daily editions of Times of India were started publishing. Before the independence of India it was administrated by British rule but after the independence of India it came under the administration of India's renown industrial family of Dalmiyas. Later on, Sahu Shanti Parasad Jain from Sahu Group took over the administrative controls of times of India. Times of India is equally published and circulated from almost all major cities of India.
