Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan. It is home to almost all the foreign embassies and high commissions. British High Commission is working in Islamabad and its head office is located in Islamabad. Robert Brinkley CMG is the current British High Commissioner to Pakistan. While Ray Kyles is the Deputy High Commissioner.

Sections of British High Commission
British High Commission Islamabad currently working with following sections:

Political Section
Political section is playing a connecting role between UK and Pakistani government. This section deals with the issues related to migration, counter-terrorism, conflict prevention, judicial co-operation, democracy, human rights and etc.

Press and Public Affair Section
This section deals with journalism, it exchanges UK and Pakistani press releases, official interviews, official meetings etc. It also deals with the scholar ships, diplomacy and fellowships programmes. It is also responsible to maintain the website of British High Commission.

Visa Section
This section deals with the problems and matters related to immigration and settlement. This section is responsible to guide and provide guidance to the applicants.

Consular Section
This section deals with the British citizen who lives in Pakistan and need to be supported or guided.

Dear Sir, I remained UK from time to time from last quarter 2006 to Ist week of June,2008. I found there very good system of every thing, traffic,offices,trains, buses,roads, and especially the food sale on shop and departmental stores, and much more. The British people are very good co-operative,and the good thing is they like honest and to speak the truth. You know every kind of people are in every country, good and bad, but the main thing which consider is administration and long term planning, which you have, every human being is equal in your country, where every he lives, especiall you medical centres, Your play grounds, every thing, I am totally admirable, In my thinking the person who is neutral mental leve and is some educated when he goes his country he definitely takes some good things from your country.
