Karachi International Airport
Karachi International Airport is also known as Jinnah International Airport. It is located in Karachi. This is the largest domestic and international airport of Pakistan. The airport has also been the largest aviation facility in Pakistan. This airport is the primary hub for the Pakistan International Airline (PIA). Karachi International Airport is a strategically located gateway to the Far East and Europe. The airport provides facilities for almost 6 million passengers, with over 50,000 annual air crafts movements and contributes Rs. 3 billion in economic benefits to the region. Karachi International Airport is also the most expensive civil construction of Pakistan. It was completed in 1992. The existing capacity allows the airport to handle up to 30 air crafts at one time.
