KUWAIT
Kuwait or "The State of Kuwait" is a northwestern sovereign Arab Emirate that shares a border with Saudi Arabia in the south, Iraq in the north and west. According to an estimate the total population of Kuwait is 3.1 million while it is covering an area of 17, 818 kilometer square. Kuwait practices a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary system is customized in Kuwait. Kuwait city is not only the political capital of Kuwait but also it is the economical capital city of Kuwait. Kuwait was attacked by Iraq in the early 90's, later on as a result of USA intervention Iraq drew back its military from Kuwait. Kuwait is the oil resource richest country in the world it is ranked as the 5th most oil rich country.
Economy
Economy of Kuwait totally relies on Oil resources. Kuwait got independence from UK in the year 1961. Kuwait is well developed country in Arab League and it is rated as the most developed Arab League country.
Climate
Kuwait contains arid continental climatic conditions. Summer season is really very hot and warm while winter season is normal cool season during which temperature remains 13 °C.
Kuwait governorates
Kuwait has six divisions that are called as governorates. These governorates are further divided into districts. Kuwait city is not only the capital city but also it is the financial and political capital city of Kuwait. Jahrah is another major city of Kuwait.
People Culture and Religion
Large number of people are Arabs while Asian are also in majority. Arabic is the official and major spoken language while other spoken languages include English, Persian, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, Filipino and Bengali. Islam is the state religion and practices by 85% of the total population. While Christians, Hindus, Sikhs are the other religious groups exists in Kuwait.
