Lahore Grammar School (LGS) was established in January 1979 in Lahore by a group of women. The school now offers Matric, O- and A-Levels to both boys and girls.
LGS has branches in several cities of Pakistan including Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi and Islamabad. It offers education to the low-income group through the Lahore Education Society School, supported and funded by LGS.
Academic disciplines offered at LGS range from maths, physics, and chemistry to literature, music, dance, and debate. The school also stresses community service. The SETC (Special Education Teaching Centre) is a campaign launched by LGS (Johar Town) in order to encourage students to educate special people. In addition, the student body of LGS (55-Main Gulberg) has been raising money through bake sales to give scholarships to students at the Pakistan Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PSRD) for the past 11 years.(wikipedia)
