Lahore University of Management Sciences
It is commonly known as LUMS. This university was established in 1984. The aim and objective before the development and establishment of LUMS is to provide a quality and world class University to the students and scholars in the field of business and information technology. LUMS is located in Lahore and it is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and it is ranked as a quality and high standard university of management sciences of Pakistan. LUMS is a private university that is built by the private sector of Pakistan and industrialists to meet the advanced requirements in business and IT education. Approximately 2000 undergraduates and 200 postgraduates are getting education at LUMS.

Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), School of Science and Engineering (SSE), School of Law and Policy and School of Education and Applied Psychology are the organizations of LUMS that are facilitating hundreds of candidates and students in their respective fields. LUMS is chartered by the government of Pakistan and it is a degree awarding University.

LUMS is a world wide well recognized University and it also works in co-relation to other world Universities. LUMS also provides financial support to the disabled students. There are lot6sw of students' societies at LUMS through these societies students get chances to present their selves with freedom.
