Lahore is the second largest city of Pakistan and it is also known as the heart of Pakistan because of its lively people. It contains extreme weather that becomes very hot during summer season in the month of May, June and July. During summer season temperature reaches up to 40 to 45 °C. Heavy rainfall occurs during the monsoon season that starts in August. Winter season starts in December, January and February months. Temperature fall below the freezing point and becomes -1 or normally remains 1 or 2 or 4 °C. 48.3 °C was the highest ever temperature of Lahore city and it was recorded in the year 1921 during June.
