AUSTRALIA:

Australia is officially called as the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia is located in the Southern hemisphere; it is the smallest continent of the world while it contains the island of Tasmania that is the largest island of the world. Australia is the only one place of its kind that is simultaneously declared as the continent, county and an island. Australia is bordered by Indonesia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea in the north, Solomon Island, Vanuatu and New Caledonia in the north east while New Zealand in the south east. Australia is a federation state that is consisted on six colonies.  Liberal democratic system is being maintained by the Australia while it is a Commonwealth realm.

According to an estimate total population of Australia is 21,807,000. Canberra is the capital city of Australia. Australia has no particular language that can be declared as its official language but Australian English is the major spoken and understood language of Australia.  Other spoken languages include Chinese, Italian, and Greek. Auslan (sign language) is mainly used by deaf people in Australia. Christians are the major religious group in Australia while Australia does not contain any official or state religion. Other religious groups include Roman Catholic, Anglican, Humanism, atheism, and rationalism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam.
