People's Republic of Bangladesh is a country that lies in the South Asia. Bangladesh is bordering to India from all sides but in its south eastern side Burma lies. Bangladesh makes the ethno-linguistic region that is called Bengal by combining with the west Bengal of Indian state. The major language is Bengali language. Bangladesh was the part of Hindustan before partition and during the year 1947 Bangladesh became independent and it was the part of Pakistan. Later on in the year 1971, Bangladesh got independent from Pakistan.

The capital city is Dhaka and it is the largest city of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a democratic country where parliamentary governmental system is based. Prime minister is the head of the government while president is the head of the state. Climate of Bangladesh has tropical climatic condition. Bangladesh is developing country its economy is not in goodcondition. Islam is the state religion f Bangladesh and usually Islamic culture is practiced in Bangladesh.
