SHILLONG TIMES The Shillong Times is an English language daily newspaper in the North Eastern part of India. It is the second oldest and major English language newspaper in North East part of India. It was launched in the year 1945 as a weekly tabloid sized newspaper. Sillong Times was launched by Mr. S.B Chaudari. Later on in the year 1961 Mr. Parsva Nath Chaudari took the charge of the newspaper and became the editor of the Shillong Times. In the year 1991 this newspaper published in the new shape and became the broadsheet newspaper. This electronic edition up dated on hour to hour basis and contains all the necessary stuff that is already present in its printed daily edition.
