The Oslo city is the capital of Norway and it is the center of all educational, economical, traditional, scientific, and political and activities of Norway. The Oslo Stock Exchange is the center of Norway business and it is the main stock market of Norway. The opening time of OSE is 9:00 am sharp while it get closed at 5:30 pm. It is not only a home to local and domestic business and companies but also it is opened for international companies. Holidays are declared on every Saturday and Sunday. OSE was established in the year 1819, initially it was started as Christiania Bors and there was no proper settings and system and stock exchange was not established properly. Electronic trading support system was introduced in the year 1988 that replaced the old fashioned auction system. In the year 1999 the whole system of trading at OSE was converted into electronic system. OSE is a join stock company since 2001 but before that it was functioning as self-owning organization.
