The current A-Channel system consists of five television stations located in Southern Ontario, and one in British Columbia. These television channels joined the Citytv system when the NewNet stations renamed as A-Channels. The NewNet stations began to develop in 1995.

A Ottawa Channel is also known as CHRO-TV. It is a television station in Ottawa and it serves the National Capital and Ottawa region of Ontario Canada. It is owned by the CTV globemedia. A Ottawa is the part of A television system of Ottawa. The main power station of AOttawa is located in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Currently, total more than 50 channels are being broadcasting not only in Ottawa but also in Pembroke. The first broadcasting went air on in the year 1961, primarily as CHOV. After then that it has passed through many variations and changing and currently it is on air with the name "A" Ottawa channel. A-Channel stations broadcast programs which are syndicated or aired on the smaller American television networks in addition to local news programming and movies. Much of the prime time lineup on A-Channel stations comprises United States Programming.
