The Ottawa Citizen is an English-language daily newspaper owned by CanWest Global in Ottawa, Canada. According to the Canadian Newspaper Association, the paper has a circulation of 141,450. The Ottawa Citizen was established in 1845. The paper has been through a number of owners. The editorial view of the Citizen has varied with its ownership. The Ottawa Citizen newspaper established by William Harris as the Bytown packet and was renamed the Citizen in 1851. Its original motto, which has recently been returned to the editorial page, was Fair-play and Day-Light.

The quality of the printing of the Ottawa Citizen in the past couple of days has been quite poor. Several pages on different sections have poor quality of ink at times making it difficult to read the contents. I believe that your printing staff needs a refresher course on quality production.
