The Ottawa Hospital is a large public type medical university hospital that is located in Ottawa. It is a public type hospital. It consists of ex- Grace Hospital, Riverside Hospital, Ottawa General Hospital and Ottawa Civic Hospital. It has 1,195 bed medical training health sciences center. All these centers are affiliated and associated with the renowned universities of Ottawa such as University of Ottawa, Children Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Officially, Ottawa hospital was established in the year 1998 and the other hospitals that include Ottawa General Hospital, Grace Hospital and Riverside Hospital were merged in the Ottawa Hospital. The basic and top most aim and objective of the Ottawa Hospital is to provide the best health care to its patients. The Ottawa Hospital is providing a wide range of academical opportunities in almost all health care disciplines with the affiliation and support of the University of Ottawa and several other educational and research institutes and organizations.
