National Bank is a semi-government and international bank of Pakistan. It was founded in 1948 by the National Bank Ordinance. Its principal office is located in Karachi. National bank of Pakistan is commonly called as “NBP”. NBP offers not only public but also commercial services to its customers. NBP has a wide range of customers all over Pakistan. NBP is a well developed bank with approximately 1200 branches in different cities of Pakistan. Total assets of NBP in the year 2007 were 12.293 billion USD.
