The NIB Bank Limited was incorporated in 2003. NIB Bank is in an advanced stage of acquiring another local financial group, Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation (PICIC), with nearly 170 branches.
Network of NIB Bank
Together the NIB Bank will have the sixth largest branch distribution in Pakistan, and place the bank in top-10 Pakistani banks in terms of Balance Sheet size and capital. Presently NIB Bank has a countrywide network of 41 branches and 15 new branches are planned for 2007.
Salaam Banking System
NIB Bank is offering a new banking concept in Pakistan called Salaam Banking System. It's based on consumer mass market. Where we concentrate on smaller businessmen whom other banks don't give any priority. Small businesses are a huge market in Pakistan. When combined they hold enormous sums of financial resources that can be catered and used in a very efficient way.
