Pakistan Army Medical College
The Army Medical College, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi, Pakistan is the Medical training institute of the Pakistan Armed forces and is a unit of the military's National University of Science and Technology. It was established in 1977; the 1st course of 99 girls & boys was inducted on 26th March, now celebrated as the "Raising Day". Within years it became the most sought after medical college of Pakistan. Army Medical College(AMC) has its curricula expanded over 5 years of essential medical education, and then the graduates are required to get one year of internship. First 2 years cover the basics of medical education. Clinical clerkship starts from third year onwards.
