Pakistan Television
Pakistan Television or PTV is the first and official television network of Pakistan. It started working in 1964. The first and pioneer television of Pakistan, Pakistan television is the official network of media of Pakistani government. The first station of Pakistan television was started working in Lahore, where the first transmission of Pakistan television went on air. The first program that went on air was Urdu News presented by Tariq Aziz who is a famous compare of Pakistan. Pakistan television presented many unforgettable TV serials, dramas, TV series, music shows, talk shows, children shows, youth shows and much more.

Pakistan television has increased its network globally and launched PTV Global. PTV also launched the following channels:

The head office of Pakistan television is in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Other stations of Pakistan television are in Lahore, which is the pioneer station, Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi. Recently Pakistan television has established its station in Multan. Pakistan television started its transmission without any advanced equipment and technology but it has become a mother institution of Pakistan.
