Geo TV network is the private type channel of Pakistan and its regular transmission was started in 2002, October. Initially only Geo News channel was started but later on Geo Entertainment, Geo super, Aag channel was started. Geo TV is the fastest news channel of Pakistan. Geo TV set new and bold trends in the TV and media history of Pakistan, Geo TV was banned on 03, November 2007 due to emergency but later on the ban was lifted. Geo TV has a very large number of viewer ship in not only Pakistan but also abroad. Geo network is being transmitted and widely watched not only in Pakistan but also in other countries of the world such as in UK, USA, Middle East and Japan.
