Most spoken languages are Balochi, Urdu and Pashto while others are Persian, Sindhi, Punjabi and Brahui. Quetta is a place of mix culture such as it has majority of Pashtons, Baloch and Afghan refugees. Cricket, squash, boxing and other sports are also very popular among people of Quetta. Quetta has a number of quality educations that are well recognized by the higher education commission of Pakistan. These include University of Quetta, Command and Staff College (military college, founded one hundred year ago), Bolan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences, Iqra University, St Francis Grammar School, Quetta, Bolan Medical College Quetta and etc. Quetta has a wide network of transport that connects the Quetta with rest of the Pakistan. Quetta has so many great and interesting attractions that encourage tourism in Quetta. These include: St. Mary's church, Hanna Lake, etc. popular markets of Quetta are: Kandhari Bazar, Liaqat and Suarj Gang Bazar. These markets contains traditional stuff like jackets, bags, waist-coats, sandals, handicrafts like mirror work, Pashton embroidery, green marble products, hand bags, etc. Afghan carpets are also very popular in Quetta markets. Sajji is the most popular food of Quetta and it is made by a very special procedure . Landhi, Khadi kabab, Lal kabab, Tabaq are also very popular.
