Sahiwal  is the city of Province Punjab, it is situated in the South Eastern part of Punjab. Sahiwal is the capital of District Sahiwal. It was a little village a century ago it was named on the name of Sir Robert Montgomery. Later on it was renamed as Sahiwal in 1966. Inhabitants of Sahiwal are called as Sahiwalians.
