As the name represents, University of Vienna is located in Vienna. It is public university of Vienna. This university was established in 1365 and it is among the oldest university of Europe. It has more than 72, 000 students enrolled and this University proudly offers about one hundred and thirty (130) courses. Mostly the students of Vienna called this University as Hauptuni (in German) and"Main Uni" English. University of Vienna founded by the Duke of Austria in 1365, this university the oldest one in German world and the 3rd oldest in the central Europe. This university is working at more than sixty locations in the city of Vienna but the main and central university building is Ringstraße. Most of the administrative activities are being done in this campus. There are three groups in the university and each group has its representative, these three groups are students, junior fcaulty and professors. Democracy is the system of university as representatives from these groups have right to nominate, create, ban, suggest their ideas. The Nobel Prize winners are the part of Vienna University and they teach at university, these include Julius Wagner-Jauregg, Robert Barany, Erwin Schrodinger, Hans Fischer, Karl Landsteiner, Konard Lorenz, Victor Franz Hess, Otto Loewi and Friedrich Hayek. So many other famous scholar have been the part of Vienna university teaching staff, these includes: Theodor W. Adorno, Manfred Bietak, Theodor Billroth, Ludwig, Boltzmann, Anton Bruckner, Rudolf Carnap, Cornard Cellets, Viktor Frankl, Sigmund Freud, Joseph von Sonnenfels, Josef Stefan, Leopold Vietoris, Carl Auer von Welsbach, Oskar Morgenstern, Otto Neurath and etc. Library of Vienna University is the largest library of Austria; it contains all the necessary things in it.
