In 1943 the Warsaw Ghetto was the scene of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the first urban mass rebellion against the Nazi occupation of Europe.

The Warsaw Ghetto was the Jewish largest Ghetto. It was inaugurated by Nazi Germany in Warsaw, former capital of Poland in the General Government during the Holocaust in World War II. The population of ghetto was dropped due to the starvation, deportations, and diseases. during 1940 to 1943.
