American School of Warsaw
ASW is the abbreviation of American School Warsaw. It is an English medium school of Warsaw. American school of Warsaw was established in 1953 in August. The school contains three parts such as Elementary, Middle and High school wings.
Training at ASW
Pupil are trained and prepared for International Baccalaureate Diploma and those pupils who do not want to take full diploma receive the IB courses. The American school of Warsaw is internationally recognized and it is a member of New England Association of schools and colleges, Southern Center for international studies and CEESA.
Location of ASW
The school has shifted to the new location and further up gradations has been taken to the building of American school of Warsaw.
Brief History of ASW
There are approximately 880 students that are enrolled at American Warsaw School. These students are from different nationalities. American School of Warsaw was founded as a private, non-profit educational institution. American School of Warsaw was established to provide an English language school in Warsaw for children of all nationalities. From its early years until 1989, American School of Warsaw was a kindergarten through grade eight elementary school. In 1989, it began adding a grade each year as it established the high school program, with the first high school graduation occurring in June 1994. Full-day prekindergarten was added in 1998. The Elementary School consists of grade PK - 5. The Middle School encompasses grades 6 - 8 and the High School contains grades 9 - 12.
