There are 17 faculties almost cover all of the fields of Science and Technology. The university established in 1826. Warsaw Medical University was founded in January 1950 on the basis of former faculty of medicine of The University of Warsaw. The Warsaw medical University is the largest and most prestigious medical institute of Poland.
