Wellington Park
Wellington Park features the Mountain Wellington that is locally called as "the Mountain or Kunanyi". This park is extended over 20 kilometers in the western region of mountain's pinnacle.
Location
This park is easily accessible from all parts of the Wellington. However, Park's administration suggests visitors to keep a detailed map of Wellington Park to avoid any hassle.
When to Visit Wellington Park
There are no specific closing and opening timings of Wellington. However, the Pinnacle Shelter at the Mountain Wellington's summit remains open for general public during summer season from 8 am to 8 pm and the timings for winter season are from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Park administration also warns visitors to be ready to experience any type of weather conditions when they visit park. However, it is better to visit the park with having wet weather conditions and longer walks in mind.
